November Challenge

Charity CAPTAIN CYMRU

The November Challenge is back and will also be announcing some famous names; as some of the fittest around try to achieve what many have failed in the past.

The November Challenge started in 2015 as a way of getting Children and their parents out running together for the month of November.  As we claim "If you walk your dog, why not your children?!"

The Challenge has 2 tiers;

The first is a mile a day for 30 days.  You can run more, but you must do at least 1 mile a day.  Going for 30 days creates the habit and it also ensures you get out amongst the elements too!

The second Challenge is The Beast.  This is an extra mile a day.  It is also one of the toughest endurance challenges out there, with only 10 people having made the finish line since its inception.  The beast starts out lightly with 1,2,3 miles a day; but very quickly it escalates and in the final week you need to run 189 miles.

NOVEMBER CHALLENGE

The event will start on Friday 30th October and finish on Saturday 28th November.  We always finish on the last Saturday of the month.

The final day is very special with those left in The Beast starting out at 9am. They have to run 30 miles, but there are points where people can join the run along the route.  Usually at 20 miles, 13, 8, 4,2 and 1 mile to go.  Its here that anyone that has done The November Challenge can join in - Most join at 4,2 or 1 mile marker and everyone finishes together and collects their medals.

For 2020 we have reduced the pricing to £5.  Should you raise £25 or more for charity then you will receive a medal on the finish line.  Merchandise is also available online.

Entry will open Mid September so keep your eyes peeled.
